Self care is an area that is so important to the well being of us all! With our busy lives dealing with the stresses of multiple responsibilities, multi-tasking heavy work assignments and prioritizing family obligations, dealing with difficult financial decisions and more, the sum of which all create heavy burdens to be shouldered on a daily basis. How do we find peace in a chaotic world?
First of all, it is imperative that we take a time out for nurturing self, to rest and reflect. Find your zen. Tools to help us include: mindfulness, movement, yoga, meditation, music, stillness, singing, enjoying nature, sleeping, swimming, walking, reading, thinking….eating healthy food… laughing, learning to be grateful, finding pleasurable hobbies and cultivating joy in our lives.
This is my passion. A goal will be to create programs designed for adults to take a time-out! Step out of your world, leave your daily chores and responsibilities behind for a brief moment to participate in activities to help renew and refresh your mind, body and spirit. Have a play day! It’s OK. Thus, in the planning stage is the creation of full day retreats to be held in various restful settings; or, even a multi-day retreat abroad.
